Arty House with Garden in Central Bristol

This 3-bedroom Victorian house is full of character, with original period features and tasteful art. Large bay windows at the front of the house and skylights at the rear bring natural light in, and the space is complimented with plenty of houseplants and warm lamps - perfect for cozy evenings around the dining table or in front of the smart tv.

Situated at the end of a cul-de-sac, this house has no passing traffic, and benefits from free on-street parking right outside the front door.

This 3-bedroom house can sleep 5 adults comfortably, or 6 if a couple are happy to share the “small double” mattress in one of the bedrooms. This home is serviced by a top-tier professional cleaning team. Consumables such as soaps, tea, salt/pepper, and so on are provided.

All the bedrooms have a large wardrobe or set of drawers. The beds are made up with hotel-quality 100% cotton linens, and the high-quality towels are soft and fluffy.

The kitchen is bright and fully equipped, containing a microwave, an oven, a gas stove, a dishwasher, and everything else you may need to whip up a fresh meal.

The living room is cosy and bright, with a large sofa and 2 comfortable armchairs arranged around the coffee table and smart TV. The dining room boasts original art, hanging lamps, and a solid oak dining table that seats up to 6. Extra chairs are in the hallway and can be used inside or outside.

The property has one modern bathroom, which boasts a clawfoot bathtub & a separate double shower. There is a small private garden with seating and electric lanterns - great for a sunset cocktail.

Local shops & pubs (including a small supermarket) are within just a couple of minutes walk away, and the house is also very close to a bus stop and a cycle/walking path that leads right into the city centre.

Guests will have access to the entire home.

As your co-host, I live locally in Bristol and am on hand if needed.

Easton is a very culturally diverse area, 1 mile to the east of Bristol city centre - recently voted one of the top 50 “coolest neighborhoods” in the whole world!

Although the house is in a very quiet cul-de-sac, the area in general can feel a little crowded and intimidating if you are not used to it - but it’s actually a very safe and friendly community.

There are plenty of shops & pubs nearby, including a small supermarket at the end of the street. A half-mile journey to the south will bring you to Church road, where you will find larger supermarkets and some great restaurants and bakeries. A half-mile to the North will bring you to St.Marks rd, which boasts unique cuisine from around the world.

Getting into the city centre is a 5-10 minute drive - Uber, Lyft, or the local buses can all take you there. Very close to the house is a popular and convenient cycle / walking path that goes directly into the city centre (or all the way to the city of Bath in the other direction). It takes about 10 minutes to cycle or 30 minutes to walk into the centre. There are app-based electric bicycle and scooter hire services dotted around.

• This is cul-de-sac road, with no turning at the bottom of the road, so drivers will have to reverse back out of the short road to exit.

• Bristol’s recycling scheme means that you may occasionally see bins & recycling boxes on the street around collection-day. If you are staying for more than a few days, we may ask you to put dustbins & recycling out for collection yourself.

• A family live next door, so you may occasionally hear children.
